Frankston’s Christmas Festival, Melbourne’s longest-running single-day Christmas celebration, returns for its 26th year on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
Presented by the Frankston City Council, this annual event draws tens of thousands and kicks off the holiday season with an evening of festive fun and tradition.This year’s festival blends beloved holiday activities with exciting new attractions. Visitors can explore a European Christmas Village, shop handcrafted gifts, and enjoy European-inspired treats.
Guests can also capture Ugly Sweater Portraits and enjoy live music at the End of the Line event by Always Live, featuring Cash Savage & The Last Drinks alongside rising stars like Full Moon Flower Band, Kiwat Kennell, and Erica Avenue.Festival highlights include the Looney Tunes Christmas Extravaganza Stage Show, a twilight market, carnival rides, Santa photos, and a Christmas parade.
The evening culminates with the lighting of the historic Norfolk Pine, followed by a fireworks display over Frankston.
