New Wave 26 is an annual exhibition that highlights the talent and creativity of VCE visual art and design students from government, independent and Catholic schools across the Mornington Peninsula.
Featuring the work of emerging artists, the exhibition captures the fresh perspectives of a new generation as they begin to establish themselves within the region’s vibrant creative community. Carefully curated, it offers students the valuable opportunity to present their work in a professional setting at a major public gallery, attracting a wide audience.
Each piece is installed by gallery staff and displayed throughout the exhibition period, with the event launched by an official opening. The exhibition is also widely promoted by MPRG, giving students meaningful exposure and recognition for their work.
Works are shown until the end of May.
