For the true minimalist, Utility & Co have you covered with their Be A Good Human face mask, designed and made at their Rye studio, using materials they had on hand. Each mask is made with three-layers of super-breathable, lightweight cotton, with straps upcycled from t-shirt yarn.

Stix and Flora
Practical and durable, these heavyweight cotton drill face masks are the perfect everyday style. Made in Mount Martha by Stix and Flora founders Jules and Em, from they’re available in a range of neutral tones, with a hi-vis version for tradies.

Muse The Label
Stocked at Mornington’s Albert & Daphne, these beautiful linen face masks are designed by Muse the Label founder, Christine Kourim. Made from pure linen with an internal cotton layer, they can be tied behind the head or around the ears, depending on your preference.

Celine Martine
If anyone could make a face mask fashionable, it’s Frankston-based headwear designer and founder of Celine Martine, Marion Lecesne. Marion has designed a chic collection of masks in natural fabrications — from graphic Lilian Farag prints to luxe embroidered silk blends.

Hook & Eye
Mount Martha’s Hook & Eye like “making the everyday more beautiful”. For now, this means face masks, so the team have got to work creating a limited edition of reversible, reusable face masks upcycled from printed and plain linen and denim offcuts. Each mask is hand-stitched with a Hook+Eye print on one side and a contrasting plain or mini polka dot reverse. Take it one step further by adding to cart one of their matching scrunchies.

Mates With Grace
Frankston-based designer Michelle Jackson of Mates With Grace has just released her second batch of printed cotton-blend face masks, including whimsical May Gibbs prints and watercoloured botanicals. Get one while you can.

Mornington Peninsula jewellery maker Caroline James has turned her hand to sewing double-faced pure cotton masks, featuring an eclectic mix of bird life and botanical florals. Fully reversible, they’re designed for a medium fit.
